How long do you have to pay your invoice until your server is terminated?

Our automatic service suspension and terminations run daily at 9am UK time.

When will we suspend or terminate a service?

Unless you're under a custom agreement (such as a managed service, or partner) the below applies to you.

If your service is overdue, it will be suspended on the 1st day it's overdue. (For example, if your service was due on the 1st, and it's now the 2nd, your service will be suspended)
If your service is 15 days overdue, then it will be terminated. (For example, if your service was due on the 1st, and it's now the 15th, your service will be terminated) This is a VERY generous leeway on service terminations, most providers will only give you 2-5 days to pay your service to avoid termination.

What is your due date?

To view your due date, go to your services tab on the client area. Here you can see the due date as seen below:

What does suspended mean?

If your service is suspended, it means your service is put in a "paused" state where you cannot access any content on it, or control the service in any way. However, in this state, your files are safe, and to regain access all you need to do is pay the overdue invoice. Nothing will be lost when the service is in this state, and the service to return back to the state it was before suspension once the invoice is paid.

What does terminated mean?

If your service has been terminated, this means that the service has been deleted from our systems. Your files may have been deleted when in this state, and may be unrecoverable. However, for some services (such as Plesk, cPanel and VPS hosting) we keep backups after a service is terminated for a limited time. If you want to restore your service and/or see if you have a backup available, please get in contact with our team as soon as possible to avoid the backups being deleted.

If we do have a backup of your files, you will need to purchase a new service (at the same or higher tier) for the files to be put back on to. In most cases, we can't provide you with the backups without them being put onto a new service. However, if you want this, please get in touch and our team will assess your situation on a case-by-case basis.
