# How to add funds to your account

This guide goes over adding funds to your VoltHosting client area account. 

This can be helpful to have a "wallet" of money you can spend, without having to do separate transactions for different purchases, or to put aside money for the future bills of the services, and automatically take care of future invoices. 

1. Head over to the [VoltHosting client area](https://billing.volthosting.co.uk/clientarea.php) .
2. On the top menu, select `Billing`, and then `Add Funds` .

3. Select the amount you want to add, and the payment method.
