# How to restore an email account on cPanel using JetBackup

Here at VoltHosting, a daily backup is automatically created on JetBackup of your whole cPanel account. You can restore this at any time. This guide will cover how to restore your full account.

||| Restoring a backup will **overwrite every component of your email account** including your emails, calendar, etc. Please make sure that this is what you want to do before restoring.

## Getting Started

### Restoring an email backup

1. Login to [cPanel](https://vh-cp02.volthosting.co.uk:2083/)
2. Under the `Files` section, select `JetBackup 5`

3. From this page, select `Email Accounts`

4. You'll then see a list of all backups, select the backup you wish to restore to, and click `Restore`

5. Then, click `Restore Selected Items`

6. The restore process has now been started, you can view the progress of the restore by clicking the clock icon called `Queue`

7. Once the restore has completed, the status will show as `Completed`.
