# How to update, downgrade or change your plan

|| Some plans such as VoltHosting Managed Servers through our MSP side of the business may not have this feature, please reach out to your account manager if this is the case. 

||| Please note: VPS services can not downgraded due to the fact that you cannot shrink storage volumes. If you wish to downgrade a VPS, please contact our support team. 

1. Login to the [client area](https://billing.volthosting.co.uk/clientarea.php) , and click on `Services`.

| You can click anywhere in the whitespace. Ensure that you don't click on any other buttons to avoid being taken somewhere else.

4. Here you can select the plan which you want to change to.

5. Click `Choose Product` and follow the steps on screen to proceed with the plan change.
