How to use the VoltHosting Status Page

This guide covers how to use the VoltHosting status page, and how to subscribe to updates which may affect your service.

VoltHosting's Status Page is located at status.volthosting.co.uk

Checking VoltHosting's System Status

The status page will notify you of any downtime or planned maintenance for any VoltHosting service. If you speak a language other than English, there is a language selector at the bottom of the status page.

On the status page, if it says All systems operational, then there are no issues with any VoltHosting service. If you are expecting issues with your service, please reach out to us in this case.

Alternatively, the status page may show that a VoltHosting service is under maintenance. This means that some disruption is expected with the indicated service. However, we will endeavour to keep this disruption as minimal as possible. You can view information on the maintenance in a widget which will appear on the top of this page.

Finally, the status page may show some disruption, such as degraded performance, partial outage, or major outage. These are typically incidents which are not planned. When an issue is occurring, a widget will appear on this page displaying information about the outage.

Subscribing to Service Notifications

VoltHosting's Status Page allows anyone to subscribe to notifications for any outages, or scheduled maintenance. To do this, you can click the Get Updates button on the top right of the page. Here, you can select how you want to receive updates. Available methods include (but not limited to): Email, Slack, MS Teams, Discord, Webhook, RSS, API, and more.

You are able to specify which components you wish to get updates for on the next page. You can choose to get notifications for any status updates, or only services which you utilise.

Checking the status of a specific service

On the status page, you can view the historical uptime of any service. There are graphs displayed on this page which can be expanded to gain further detail into the specific service. For example, the VPS Hosting Infrastructure section can be expanded to show the individual nodes.

Checking Recent Notices

At the bottom of the page, or the history page, you can view any historical outages or maintenance, as well as any planned maintenance. Planned maintenance will also display at the top of the main status page when it is due to occur within 7 days.

Checking Automatic Historical Uptime

VoltHosting also maintains a public facing, automatically updating status page at uptime.volthosting.co.uk. This uptime page automatically monitors our public-facing network. It can be used to view any historic uptime, or automatic monitoring updates. This can be helpful to check system ping from around the world, historical uptime (back to 2018), and automatic system updates. VoltHosting is proud to maintain a 99.99% uptime on this uptime monitoring solution.
